I am a writer, United Church minister, spouse, mother, grandmother, cancer survivor, volunteer Medical Responder, lover of Jack Russell Terriers. I am a news junkie who is particularly interested in the intersection between faith and science. I have written two books, (Just wait, there’s more and For the Death of Me: accepting death, choosing life) as well as magazine, journal and newspaper articles. I have a Doctorate in Ministry which concentrated on how people think of their own death. Lately I have become fascinated with marriage preparation/strengthening materials and am Team Leader for the “More Than Friends” marriage preparation resource.
What has this got to do with Camp 42? Everything, if you consider that a journey of spiritual exploration and appreciation of Canada’s National Parks is one of adventure, relationship-deepening, community-making and a little bit of death defiance.
